Courageous

 Last Friday evening Phyllis and I gathered with many friends and the Winshape Foundation at the Fabulous Fox Theater for the Red Carpet Premiere of Sherwood Pictures newest motion picture, COURAGEOUS.  This was the second time we have seen the movie and it is great.  God has His hands on the Kendrick brothers and the team of Sherwood Pictures.  This is a God-thing.  Once again we will listen and watch as Hollywood shakes its head and asks questions that can only be answered with one word... GOD.

Like Fireproof was to marriages, Courageous will be to fathers.  I cannot wait to see how creative the body of Christ will be as they reach out to capture the hearts of fathers and seek to turn their hearts to their children and ultimately to God. 

Speaking of the church.  I am blown away by the great and powerful free resource the church community is to the promotion of these movies.  It's like "loose 'em and let 'em go" or "sic 'em" and get out of their way as they promote, advertise, talk it up, buy out theaters and whatever way God leads them to get involved. 

Honor does begin at home.  Beginning on September 30 it will be all over the movie screen as well.
